Audit Confirmation Letters
As a part of our annual risk management process our auditing firm, Hawkins Ash CPA’s, will be performing an audit in which you our members may be asked to confirm the accuracy of an account balance. This process is required by our auditors and our regulators. As a part of this process you may be randomly selected to confirm information, or detail a balance discrepancy. No other information will be requested. This is one of many internal control processes followed by your Credit Union to enhance the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting in order to protect you, our members.
If you receive a letter please confirm the requested information and return it to Hawkins Ash CPA’s as per the letter’s instructions. Responses must be mailed to our auditing firm for control purposes. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at (262) 694-1600 and ask for a Duane.
