As a member-owned financial cooperative, Southern Lakes Credit Union is here to serve and benefit its members. Membership is your ownership share in the Credit Union and allows you access to the benefits we offer. Establishing membership in Southern Lakes is quick and easy.
You are eligible to join Southern Lakes if you live and/or work in the following Wisconsin counties: Kenosha, Walworth, Milwaukee, Racine, Rock, and Waukesha or in the following Illinois counties: Lake and McHenry. Additionally any member of the immediate family of any existing member may become a member of the Credit Union
Opening a membership account is a simple process. Please bring your non-expired, government issued ID, proof of current address (if not on your ID), your Social Security Number (or a TIN/EIN/ITIN), and a $5.00 minimum deposit to establish your membership account.
From our History as a select membership group Credit Union you may also qualify for membership if you meet any of the following criteria:
