There are many factors that affect your credit score. Here are some tips you can use to bring your credit score to its highest potential:

  1. Pay credit card balances down below 30% of their limit. For the best and highest score,keep your credit cards balances under 10% of available credit.
  2. Obtain a copy of your credit report. Call the credit bureaus to remove any old or inaccurate information.
  3. Do not apply for unnecessary new credit.
  4. Keep old credit cards open.
  5. Pay all bills on time.
