Happy Thursday! We are excited to bring you #ThankYouThursday. We are blessed and thankful to once again be in a position to make financial contributions to some vital nonprofit organization serving our area.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago has generously offered us a matching funds grant in order to assist non-profit organizations that specialize in education, housing and childcare. Southern Lakes Credit Union is committed to supporting our members, and the communities we serve now more than ever. Through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago we are proud to announce that once again we have provided grants to three different non-profit organizations within our community.
Our first spotlight is on the Shalom Center. The Shalom Center has been providing support to the Kenosha area since 1982. Over the years, they have grown into a community resource that provides food, guidance, and support to families and individuals in need throughout Kenosha. Their mission is to serve the community through food, shelter and other supportive ways. They believe that this mission will help realize a greater vision: self-sufficiency by maximizing the potential of the people they serve.
We thank The Shalom Center for the tremendous contribution they make to our city and community.
